Service and Charity Projects
Our Grand Worthy Advisor's Charity project this year is Keeper of the Wild, a non-profit organization in South Carolina which cares for sick, injured, orphaned or displaced wildlife with the intention of returning them to appropriate habitats in the wild. They also strive to increase public awareness of the plight of South Carolina's wildlife through education programs, which they present at schools and other community organizations. One of the Grand Worthy Advisor's Service projects this year is Box Tops for Education. This program lets individuals collect box tops from various products and send them to local schools. The schools then receive checks based on the number of box tops collected. You can read more about the program at their website here.
Our Grand Worthy Advisor's second Service project is Letters to Soldiers, an organization which collects letters and care packages for our overseas troops, and distributes them. You can read more about the organization here.
